I really like this boot. The leather on these is softer and broke in very quickly. I do wish they were more nonslip though because even brand new I still slide on the warehouse floor at work. I wish Docs came in a wide width because the 3’s fit in length and at the heel but are too narrow in the toe box and tight across the instep so I have to go with the 4 which is slightly big on me.

Went with these instead of the women’s style boot because of the toe seam being waaay too tight. The seam is much less painful in these, though they do feel a little clunky because my feet move around a lot in them. Will probably add an insole to help with that.

I am a loyal Dr. Martens fan, let me start off by saying that. This time though I am HIGHLY dissatisfied because I thought that for the price that I paid ($140.00) that they were going to be the authentic boots made in England, NOT China!!
And then I learn that a very short time later the price had dropped 30%???
If I would have known this I would not have ordered them. I am going to think twice about Zappos the next time I order boots. I should’ve went directly through Dr. Martens website.

These boots look and feel great right out of the box. Very little break-in required. The brown leather has a nice, broken-in/vintage patina, as if I’ve owned them for years. I’ve tried other brands that were 2-3x’s more expensive, and they weren’t nearly as comfortable as these.

Bought for my son, bought his original size 12 (UK 11), but was a full size too large for him. Returned for size 11 (UK size 10) and fit perfectly. Son is a size 12 (11.5 if shoes run large) in Nike, Adidas, etc. otherwise, good quality, as expected, stylish and the coyote color doesn’t come super distressed but appear that is will develop great patina.

These are great! I have narrow feet, so I added an extra insole and they are perfect. Very comfy for a boot! Can’t wait to wear them all day.

The leather on these breaks in fast cause they are slightly oiled. Very comfortable. I had these for 5 years and used them for work as a truck driver. They would still be going strong but the right boot sole collapsed where I press the fuel pedal. Otherwise they are still in great shape. I bought a new pair to replace these. As far as the Asian boots go, they are very well made. I had 2 English pair back in the 80s punk rock days. Those were the best. The Asians are still great. Get them.

I had these boots for about four years and they still look in pristine condition. I own five pairs of dr marten shoes. These are probably my favorite pairs. They’re comfortable and match any pair of pants. They are a bit on the heavy side. That is the only con.

I thought, Dr. Martens you can’t go wrong. I made a mistake. Great looking boot but very uncomfortable. I understand it takes a bit of time to break these boots in but I was expecting more for the price. I’m a size 11 and the boot plain and simply didn’t feel or fit right for me. I added insoles to see if it would help with my investment and yes these boots are an investment. Insoles helped but not enough to correct there uncomfortable feel. I’m on my feet (inside and outside) most of my day and need a comfortable boot. I don’t think I have the feet for Dr. Martens.

Excellent fit! The toe box is nice and roomy so my foot is not constructed at all. Comfy to walk and stand in. Great ankle support as well. I am also really impressed by the quality of the leather. All around an excellent shoe.
