I love Doc martens and the fact that they make a quality sandal that looks/ feels like you can totally survive an apocalypse wearing …..completely blew my mind! They are basically the jadon 8, but in sandal form. I read reviews and decided to go a size down from my true size and they didn’t let me down, so go a size down! These truly won’t dissappont any outfit !

Love my new sandals, they are very comfy and can wearing them the whole day, they do make also noises when wearing them, love them anyway because the comfort.
Bernette –
Pretty in pink. The shoes were very heavy. Had to return. Thank you Zappos!!
Shelia –
I like the shoe just a tad bit heavy but the style is cute

These are comfortable for my wide feet! They are heavy but the arch and ankle support are really good !
Melissa –
Loved how cute these were, but they felt a little tight – my foot is a little wide; I think if I’d had more time before the occasion I needed them for I’d have kept them to break in, but sadly returned them. They’re heavy, but that wasn’t an issue.

I bought this literally the SECOND I saw them because – well, how can you not? And I was on tenterhooks, waiting for the doorbell to ring so I could put these babies on asap. Imagine my complete, utter disappointment to find that my usual size 11 was so huge, my feet were literally slipping around even after I put them on and secured them as much as possible.
Of course I still absolutely wanted them, so sent back the size 11, ordered the size 10. I’m sometimes in between 10-11, depending on the brand; I can get into a size 10 in Converse for example but typically prefer 11 just to have more room.
Lo and behold, the size 10 felt a full size SMALLER! I couldn’t even get my foot in. Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on with this brand that they don’t understand how to make shoes fit their actual indicated sizes – nor, clearly, listen to their customer base. Across various styles, I keep hearing/reading the same thing that people are finding it impossible to get the right size because Dr. Martens doesn’t appear to know how to make them fit right; nor offer any half sizes.
This is such a huge disappointment to me for more than one reason. I grew up wearing Docs in the 90s so there’s nostalgia attached to it for me; it’s sad that, apparently, I can’t find a way to bring those back into my life. Massive fail.

The fit is perfect, they comfy and so cute but the break-in period is rough, use bandaids!!!

I received the wrong size but the shoes themselves felt and looked really nice and high quality!
Valerie –
They fit great, and are super comfortable on the foot, but they are way too heavy for me. If you don’t mind a heavy sandal and you want that Dr. Martens look, these are perfect.

I am a 7 and a half, but I went with 7 and it just barely fit. The ankle strap was a little loose though. Other than that it was very stylish! I probably have to wear socks until I break them in so I don’t get anymore blisters.

Cute AND comfortable!! I normally wouldn’t spend over $50 on a pair of sandals, BUT I bought a pair of Dr. Martens ankle boots last year and fell in love! With both the ankle boots and these Clarissa II Quad Shore’s, I tried them on in a store prior to ordering. If you don’t want to deal with the hassle of not knowing your true size in Dr. Martens and having to return and reordering, then I HIGHLY recommend trying them on first. I tried on a pair of the Blaire sandals in store because I originally preferred those over the Clarissa’s. The Blaire are SUPER cute, BUT the straps over the top of my foot were way too loose! They ended up flopping around even though they fit toe to heel. So, I chanced it and got the Clarissa’s instead. I’m so glad I did! The straps are fitted, not loose or tight and I love the thickness vs the thin straps on the Blaire. I typically wear a US Women’s 9.5. My Dr. Marten ankle boots are a US Women’s 9, and I typically wear socks with those. I ended up ordering a US Women’s 8 in the Dr. Marten Clarissa II Quad Shore, because that’s what I tried on in store. I do believe the fit is different compared to boots, so keep that in mind when thinking about size if you already own some Docs. Anyways, best shoes I’ve bought since my Doc boots and I know they’ll last forever.

Loving the sandals!! Bought the same size as my doc Martin boots. I wear an 8 in running shoes and a 7.5 in non running shoes. Although I do wear a 7 in Tiva Sandals . The size 7 fits really well. The Sandal is heavy. I would say about two pounds each.

I’m normally wearing 8.5 and initially ordered a size 7 in these which was too small, exchanged for a size bigger – which is too big and wide now! So disappointing they don’t have half sizes.. really love the look..

I was looking forward to getting these sandals because I was looking for something edgy and stylish, and it is. However, they did not work for me. I’m normally a 9M in sandals and these were about half an inch too long and wide. Plus, they are very heavy. This is my first time ordering Dr. Martens and maybe it’s normal for this brand. Returning!

The straps that go over the foot are not adjustable hence they did not fit me. I was disappointed with that. I wished the design could have been adjustable.

beautiful sandals & nice material. but they’re super heavy. the other reviewer was not kidding, they’re about 2 lbs each. big & clunky if you have skinny feet & legs. m soo sad that i have to returned them because they’re just so cute.

very heavy. felt like 2lbs each shoe. feels uncomfortable & awkward walking due to heaviness of the shoes. looks very cute & size 3 fits my size 51/2-6 feet.
Zappos still has the best customer service & great return policies.

There are things I love about these sandals: I love the look, the pebbled leather, the heel (which is very comfortable), and the ankle strap (also comfortable). Things that made these unwearable for me are the weight of the soles, which I think are as heavy as Doc boots; and the straps across the instep which are wider than the Blaire sandals and will rub the tops of my feet. I really wanted to keep them, but I know that the weight and rubbing on top will make me not wear them in the end. The footbed give good arch support and is cushioned so would have been comfortable if not for the issues. Clarissa II fits like the Blaire, and I found that for my 6.5 feet the US 6/EU 37/UK 4 would have been the most comfortable size. I wish Clarissa, with the pebbled leather, came with a lighter sole: if it did, I would seriously consider getting them too. For now, I am staying with the Blaire sandals.

Seems fine my daughter loves them

Love the look of these. I usually wear a 6.5-7, but sized down to a 6 due to reviews. Still big. They are a bit loose throughout the entire foot area, which is odd since I have wider than average feet. My feet tend to swell a bit in the summer, so I will keep them, mainly because they are super cute and seem to have a lot of flex. Should be good vacation/city walking shoes for hotter months.

I can’t speak to how the shoe feels long term, but when I tried the shoe on, they felt super comfortable. They are definitely the heaviest of the ones I tried (blaire < gryphon < clarissa), but personally I don't mind (thinking of it as a fashionable leg workout haha). Unfortunately, the size I order was too big even though I sized down 1/2 size and the next smaller size was not available. I'm usually a US size 6.5, but ordered the 6.

Super cute was worried they wouldn’t fit due to having a wider and thicker foot. They did fit around the straps comfortable with some pace left. They are a bit on the heavier side but super cute

Cool sandals, but I had to send them back. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO heavy, I felt I had cinder blocks strapped to my feet.
