I danced for 14 year and never got blisters as bad as these sandals have given me. A week out and I still can’t wear shoes with backs. That being said, if I’d prepped with some large bandaids I might have been fine. Make sure you put in the time to break them in before wearing them out and about. They are super cute and initially rather comfy and supportive. I’m sure they’ll be just fine once they’re worn in.

I really like these, they are a little heavy , but feel like they’ll be comfortable and provide good support after breaking them in.

Fit is great but beware, you will get blisters every time you wear these. They are truly the most uncomfortable Dr. Martens I own and I own over 30 different styles of Dr. Martens. But if you can live with that, they are adorable.

The soles on these are exactly like Docs…they’re just too heavy. I’d say they’re comically heavy. Instead, I returned them for the Blaire. Very similar style but Blaire’s have a much lighter sole. For both styles I did NOT have to size down as others have recommended. The straps on both are a bit oversized.

Dr. Martens are heavy but I actually love that. The problem with this shoe it pinched between the two straps on my left foot. I am not for sure why. I order a different leather and the sandal is fine. I gave this particular shoe a 3 overall because of comfortability. I would purchase Dr. Marteen again but now that I see there is a difference in leather I will pay close attention to that.

The fit was way off. I ordered a size 7 and it felt more like a size 9. The back of the shoe hurt when I walked.

Three stars for how these sandals look, the patent leather is really cute. The fit was bad for me. I sized down from a 7 (I am 7.5 and wear uk 5) to size 6, and while the length was fine, the straps were a no go. Way too tight, and the closed heel made these uncomfortable from just trying on. I own the DM Geraldo sandal is a US 7 and those are a little bit big, but much more comfortable. The leather on these are super stiff and I was doubtful that I would survive the break in process and I own a LOT of shoes and DMs in particular. This style didn’t work for my foot. I don’t think sizing up would have mattered with how tight the first strap on the foot was. Cute shoes tho.
