Love these more than the originals. They have a lining in them which makes them fit a little more snug around the ankles and the whole footbed feels thicker and more cushioned. Definitely my favorite Docs so far.

I may never wear anything but Dr. Martens ever again! My Western boots have always been my most comfortable footwear. And my shoe wardrobe runs the gamut – from Birkenstocks to Jack Rogers to stilettos to Western boots to Brooks running shoes and way too many (I have a problem) other shoes in between. These boots make me so glad that combat boots are back! I thought that they would be heavy and clunky, but they are not. I have now ordered a pair in black, though not “Combs” because it didn’t come in black in my size, and can’t wait for them to get here!

I ordered a full size smaller after reading the reviews. I love these Dr. Martens. I’ve tried on several pairs and was about to give up and these Combs (made in China) are the perfect ones for me. Lots of support, hardly any break-in time and really fit the bill. The others I tried were made in Viet Nam and just didn’t work for me. I just hope these Comb Dr. Marten boots start coming in different colors with the same great leather. I’d love to have them in red or blue.

I was in the infantry in the USMC and have worn a lot of boots. This is my 4th pair of Docs and these might by my favorite boots to date. Have had them less than a day already have them broken in. The quality of the leather is great without feeling too chunky. Boots are very lightweight yet solid. The soles are cemented as opposed to Goodyear welted but the tread I actually like more than the classic tread. For the price these are solid, comfortable, quality boots.

Took 3 tries with this Doc style. Canvas style not flexible enough for me. Too big on first leather order, my size not available at that time. Finally achieved ‘goldilocks,’ size and color. Yeah !

These were a big disappointment. They’re so wide that they feel like clown shoes. But by the time I realized they were not a good fit, I had worn them.

Who doesn’t feel awesome wearing Doc Martens! I just wish I could get a hold of a Oxford Blood Color in my size, and of course for the price I paid for the Doc Martens I’m reviewing 🙂

I heard that Dr. Martens were hard to break-in and uncomfortable. Not so with these boots! So comfortable right out of the box, fit great and look so cool! Wore them to walk to work on a snowy Chicago morning, and my feet were warm and dry. No break-in time necessary! Can’t say enough great things about these boots!

Outside diameter of shoe is normal, as in comparable to other shoes I have of the same size; but the walls are so thin that it creates a ton of extra room on the inside of the shoe. My feet literally slide side to side and back and forth when trying to walk in them. Very stiff leather, bound to be pretty uncomfortable until it’s worn in.

These are amazing boots! I have Achilles tendinitis and arthritis in my feet and have daily constant pain so I really only ordered these to have a pair of boots for colder weather and working around the yard, not an everyday shoe. However, wearing them around the house for the past few days to break them in (which is definitely needed), it dawned on me this evening that I’ve had NO foot/ankle pain. They will now be everyday shoes. They run a bit big, I wear 8.5-9 normally so ordered an 8, could have probably done with a 7, but they’re out of stock, so, these will do with thicker socks. 10/10 recommend.
