Sizing is true to traditional women’s sizing. The shoe is lined with extra fabric so it gives it a bulkier look and they’re a little difficult to get on the first time but it gets easier.

These boots are awesome. I ordered a size 9, as that is what I generally wear in Docs, they felt a half size smaller than other Docs that I own. I would order a 10 next time. They are slightly narrower as well. Over all, I think they just need broken in.

I loved these boots at first sight and it was hard to find a pair as they were sold out everywhere. Surprisingly no one has mentioned in reviews how heavy these boots are. They are at least 2x heavier than any Dr. Martens I own or any wooden clog or other boots. I love the way they look on but I don’t think I could stand the weight and sadly I’m thinking of returning.

I bought these from Dillard’s online for my 20 year old daughter in white. She absolutely loved them so much, I purchased the black ones from Zappos as well! She works as a server and hostess and is a college student. She wore them right out of the box and was on her feet all day! No issues on sizing or comfort. She is a true size 8. She said numerous people complimented her and asked where she had gotten them! They look adorable with shorts, jeans, skirts, and dresses! LOVE!

The shoes fit perfectly! The leather is softer than on regular Docs, so the shoes felt great right out of the box. Super cute style! I am a teacher, and all of my students were impressed! I love the cream color — perfect for spring!

Such soft leather and GREAT color! Really a darling shoe. I actually hope to find it in a size that works for me. These ran terribly small – I’m ALWAYS a US 7 in Dr. Martens… these fit like a US6 – I measured the inside and it’s 9.5″ which is a 6 according to their show size chart. The buckles are really difficult to navigate and the soles are quite heavy and clunky. Still – GAH – if you can get these to fit I think you’ll love them.

I usually wear an 8 in Doc Martens (8.5-9 in other shoes). I purchased an 8 in these boots and they fit perfect! Very cute.

Ok this was a bit confusing, size-wise, because my other two Docs run a full size large and these really are TRUE TO SIZE. That said, they’re wildly comfy, and like all Docs, they’re made with premium leather that I know will conform to my feet over time. Already, they’re comfy right outta the box! I took a chance and bought the Black Currant, because I have a million black boots, and I like the color a LOT—I think it will be surprisingly versatile, and why not, since they’re on a great sale? These Devon Heart booties are great—cute but with a punky edge. I love them!!!

The size and fit were great. These are the cutest shoes. The only reason I am returning them is that they are a pain to put on. The buckles have to be buckled and unbuckled individually if you’re going to wear them, and I just don’t have the patience to do so. I thought about whether I would really wear them if I had to go to the trouble of buckling and unbuckling, and the answer was–sadly–no. If this does not bother you, then you should buy them! Super cute.

I sort of collect docs and wear dozens of styles in 8, a handful of unisex styles and sandals in 7, and only the Devons in 9. I wear 8.5 in shoes generally. Size 9 Devons in black fit me just right (I don’t think they’d even fit people who generally wear size 9 in other brands comfortably), and size 9 Devons in black currant fit me like most doc styles in size 8, with a bit of space to accommodate thicker socks. In other words: get the black Devons half-1 size bigger than your general size, but get the purple Devons TTS-half size bigger than your general size. I don’t have the other color ways and don’t know if the sizing on those are different.

*correction to my previous review which stated that the black and blackcurrant fit differently. They don’t! I just forgot that I put an insole in my black pair already lol. So get TTS or a half size up for both of these color ways. :p

These boots are beyond cute! I was completely in love with the juxtaposition of the edgy, punk vibe with sweet, heart-shaped buckles. These boots are just a bit too tight. I know for certain that size 6 will be too large. Why can’t there be a 5.5 size?
I’ve got to send them back :’(
