This sandal is everything and more! I have a narrow foot and the buckle straps were able to accommodate for that. This IS a pretty chunky shoe only because the sole of the shoe looks like it was literally taken from a Dr. Marten boot. The amount of comfort in this sandal superceded my uncertainty of keeping it because of the price, but I will say it’s SO worth it.

I am a size 9 in women’s and usually order a size 8 in all of my Doc Martens. So as long as you know what size of DM’s you wear, you should be good. For new Dr. Marten wearers, order a size smaller than your usual size!
These sandals are so cute and were super comfortable straight out of the box. I love the chunky platform sole. These look great with jeans, dresses, etc.

Perfect fit. I wear a women’s US 9 even in doc martens boots. These sandals are squeakers for sure, so to break them in/stop the squeak within about 30 min.. I used Vaseline on every place which had a buckle, everyplace leather met the sole and even the leather straps ( I took the buckled straps and unbuckled to get the Vaseline in deep on inside). Then twisted them all over prob looked like I was tearing them up. Lol but it stopped all squeaks. Hope that helps. Dryer sheets on the bottom of any doc with stop floor squeaks. These are the most comfortable sandals and I’m a true birk sandals girl… but I love these in all black.

I purchased these for myself and I am not disappointed!! The run very true to size. The buckles don’t rub funny on my ankles like I was worried about. Very comfortable shoes. The only thing I was surprised at was how heavy they are. It’s like wearing leg weights, but maybe they’ll help tone my legs. Overall, I love these and they are super well made.

LOVE this sandals. I’m usually an 8.5 in most brands, but always an 8US in Dr. Martens, and these were no different. The 8US fit perfect.

I typically wear a size 8.5. I ordered a size 8 in these and had to return them because I put the straps on the tightest notch and they were still too big. I sized down to a 7 and they work. My foot is medium width but it’s thin. I don’t have any padding on the top of my foot so these being adjustable made them perfect. These shoes are really heavy, but I love the look so it’s worth the weight.

I can’t stop wearing these, they match with almost everything and are so comfortable ! Took me a couple of wears with thicker socks on to break them in but after about a week they fit like a beautiful platform glove.

Love these….first day wearing I wore with a pair of heavy socks as I knew I would be walking a lot. Yep 12,000 steps and not one blister or issue. These are not only cute but great support. I love my burks or docs….only sandals I love wearing.

After much thought, I finally bought these from another vendor (sorry Zappos.) I purchased the UK size 5 for my 7 1/2 sized foot. The length is about perfect and after tightening the straps a notch they are a good fit. The UK 6 might have worked too, but I was concerned that the extra room would allow the straps to rub. The shoes are pretty hefty, but the thick air wear soles are nice and “springy”.

Beautiful sandal. Runs 1/2 size larger.. My daughter wears 8.5 and got 8. 9 was too large. She was deciding between the Gryphoe regular footbed and the platform which is $10 more, but well worth it. Zappos is awesome. The sandals came in 2 days.

I normally wear a 10 in women, but sized down and the 9s are a perfect fit. Quality amazing did give me horrible blisters for the first few wears but I expect to break them in more

It’s heavy but it’s not it’s not uncomfortable to walk. style is super grunge retro- & if you are short it’s semi platform, which gives you heights. you can wear them with or without socks.
the one thing i didn’t like was the back strap which was sitting right on my heel instead of above my heel.

I’m obsessed with these. YES they seem heavy at first but they’re surprisingly easy to get used to. They’ve been my work shoes for about six months and their weight is unnoticeable to me now, and I wear them for 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week and my feet never get sore (i normally carry a lot of tension in the heels of my feet.) They’ve broken in nicely without breaking *down* and the straps fit well. I’m usually an 8.5-9 in most shoes which means Doc Martens 8s fit me perfectly.

Some reviews were saying to size up. I read one that said go w/your normal size. Sooo happy I listened to the latter and got my regular size. Perfect fit and super comfy.

I usually wear a UK 7 in Dr. Marten’s sandals and these also fit true to size. I’m between a 9.5/10 in US women’s sizes. Loved the patent leather version of these so much that I had to have the platform version. They will require some breaking in because the leather is very stiff and the straps are tight around the foot out of the box. They are BIG on my feet (yikes!) and heavy as other reviewers noted, but they look great especially if you’re a loyal DM wearer. Happy with these and can’t wait to break them in!

Fit my wide feet well. I like the finish on the leather because it is like it’s already worn in, so it doesn’t cut into your skin like new shoes can when you’re breaking them in. Very heavy & sturdy. I love the classic contrast stitching they have. Classic doc feel perfect for summer.

I haven’t had Doc’s sandals in forever, and I. LOVE. THEM. They fit perfectly and are comfortable so far just walking around the house. I think they might start rubbing in spots around my ankles, so I’m going to pass on wearing them to the 80s new wave/goth festival I’m headed to this weekend where it’s going to be hot and crowded. Can’t wait to get them broken in and wear them all summer though!

Love a platform sandal!
If I had normal feet, these would have been wonderful, but I have wide feet and a high arch, so these don’t work.
In a perfect world, I wear a 10.5WW. I purchased the 11, they were tight around the ball of my foot, and would have fit when broken in, BUT they were way too long. So, I exchanged for a 10, the bed was a good size, but my foot did not fit in the front strap. Bummer!
