Always love Dr. Martens and loved how these fit. Unfortunately I think I’m going to send them back. The problem is that the double thick sole moves or squeaks super loud under the heel of the foot. I don’t think the sound is only the new leather sound. I pulled them off and messed with the sole quite a bit and the soles seem to have some sort of friction in the layers that cause the noise. I walked around the house in them all evening and they were extremely loud. I have had several pairs of Dr. Martens and I am bummed these didn’t work out. They look really great I hate to send them back. I just can’t deal with the noise.

My go-to boots for punk shows and rainy days. I wear a size US7 (women’s) and normally wear size UK5 in Docs, but that size was huge on me. I returned and ordered a UK4, and they are perfect! Mine are red, and they are a hard, glossy oxblood color. Beautiful. They were stiff out of the box, like all my Docs, and took many nights out and some blisters to be able to wear them comfortably. But it was worth it. I love my Jadons and get compliments every single time I wear them! I am hoping they make them in a 14-eye… I would purchase in a heartbeat.

Saw these on my friend and I had to have them. A true statement piece to any edgy or casual outfit. They run true to size, but a bit stiff. So they will take some time to break in. I haven’t had any discomfort with them thus far.

I emailed Doc Martens directly for advice on what size to order because the reviews are conflicting. I’m a size US womens 7.5-8 and my foot is 24cm long. Doc’s suggested sizing down to a 7, rather than going with an 8. They fit perfectly and with no tightness whatsoever. Lots of reviews say they are painful, but oddly I find them very comfortable.

I’ve been dreaming about these boots for about a year and yes, they are everything you have always wanted. Look good with anything from flowery dresses to ripped up jeans to leggings and sweatpants. I’m obsessed!!!

I have been wanting these boots for a while now and finally got them! I have a pair of 1460s and wear a size 7 in those (normally I’m a 7.5-8 in regular shoes). One of my friends used to work for Dr. Martens so I consult her constantly about what size to get because its sometimes a shoot in the dark. She told me to order a 7, I did and they felt a little big so I also got a size 6 to compare and decided to return the pair that didn’t fit. Well 6 was way too small. My friend said her Jadons fit similar and to just put a pair of insoles in or wear big socks so that’s what I’m going to do! Overall, I’m in love and can’t wait to wear them out! I thought I’d share my sizing experience to help other out!!

Like all docs they need to be broken in. But I will say they’re already WAY comfier than my 1460s and I don’t think they’ll take as long to break in. I sized down like I usually do with docs (normally an 8, got a 7) and I absolutely love them and the height they give me!

If your normal size is a 9.5 but sometimes you can fit into a size 10, I am warning you…do NOT buy a size 10. They were HUGE on me and had SO much space around my feet. A size 9 fits perfectly. I am obsessed, they are the most comfortable shoes ever 🙂

I wish they had also stated the EU size, then I would have immediately known something is amiss. I am US 9, EU 40. The boots were huge and when I checked the box, it said US 9/ EU 41- this is more like US 9 1/2. Other comments also suggested sizing down. I am returning …

I haven’t decided if these boots are a keeper due to the incredibly LOUD and SQUEAKY NOISE they make when walking on tile or even hardwood. I read some other reviewers’ comments about noises but I dismissed them and still placed my order. Oh, boy! I have NEVER, EVER heard anyone’s footwear make such a loud noise. It seriously sounds like someone is rubbing rubber tires on the wet glass . The boots don’t make this noise when on concrete or carpets surfaces. Another reviewer said rubbing Dreyer sheets helped get rid of the noise. It didn’t do anything to help me

I bought a 9 and it is a tad big so I just wear bulky socks. They fit fine with the addition of the socks. I love the Look. They always break in great so yes, they are comfortable.

This is a unisex shoe, so it was very large even in the smallest size on my tiny feet. However, thanks to a thin arch support insole and thick socks, I can make them work. The side zipper makes them much easier to get into/out of than other DM styles I own. I love the added height from the platform, too!

Loooove these. I purchased my typical size 7 and they fit wonderful. NOTE: For those having a hard time breaking in. The smooth leather is definitely harder to break in and is not as comfortable as the Napa leather. If you’re buying your first DMs I’d suggest going with the Napa leather 1460s unless you totally understand there is a definite uncomfortable break in period.
