Love these boots, I ordered and fell in love with the style. I was skeptical of what size to order. I’m a 7 in women’s and a 5 in kids. They should fit perfect for you if you’re curious as to what size in kids would be best for you. They are perfect for almost any occasion, I just love love them

Dr. Matters are one of my favorites! They last forever and keep your feet warm when it’s cold. Got my daughter her 1st pair this year and she loved them! I would take these over a pair of $200 boots any day! They’re weather proof and last! They are still made as good as they made them 20 yrs. ago. Can’t go wrong with docs!

I’m women’s 7 and these fit great! I love the zipper; makes for easy on and off. They felt great on and no heel lift. Only thing is I needed better quality leather and oil/slip resistant bottom, which these do not have. Wish they didn’t skimp on the materials, otherwise good boots.

I looked forward to breaking these in over the weekend since they arrived Friday. Here’s the good and the bad:
Good: The air cushioned soles are amazing. I was skeptical about those with fibromyalgia who recommended them but thought I’d give it a go. As a woman who is 4’11” with skinny ankles and size 5.5-6.5 shoes, I figured why not go for the kid’s size and see how they look, since many ankle length boots are so wide on me. These can easily fit skinny jeans inside with the laces tightened all the way. There was plenty of room in the toe box and my heels barely slipped once I got them laced up. I think I’ll need a moleskin on my ankle to start but otherwise break-in should be easier than most Doc Martens since the leather is so soft. I got a UK 4 (Big Kid 5, Adult 6/6.5, EU 37- per the Doc Marten site size is equivalent to a US women’s 6). With thick woolly socks they felt perfect. No arch support but you can replace the insoles since they are removable. I had room to insert a thicker Spenco insert. Perfectly comfortable as they are since I have flat feet and prefer something that doesn’t push up against my arches too hard. I read that there was a real Dr. Marten who designed these for flat feet.
The leather is their Softy T, so the break in should not be arduous.
My husband liked how they looked with skinny jeans. I was pleasantly surprised. I was afraid they might be too clunky, but they are fun. Go them in the Cherry Red.
The Bad: Unfortunately, I could not wear them around the house to break them in this weekend since I am returning them for a new pair. The right foot was defective. The shoe leaned to one side – it was not centered properly on the sole. I also did not get a second pair of laces as you’re supposed to with Doc Martens. Hoping the new pair will be better. I searched for the women’s Doc Martens “Made in England” but the search engine brought up these and I decided to give Zappos one more chance before trying the Doc Marten’s site directly. Also, the container of “Wonder Balsam” (suggested for the boots) I received was 2 years old and the can was banged up. I also bought the full care set, which has smaller containers. The chemical smell was overwhelming until I realized that the lids were on very loosely. Nothing seemed to have dried up.
I don’t think these are made to last a lifetime, but at this price I think they will hold up for quite a few years. I’m easy on my shoes. If I really find the bouncy “Air Wair” soles do the trick, maybe I’ll track down the expensive Made In England ones and give them a go.
I’m a long time Zappos customer and I’m sure they’ll send out a better pair on Monday. I will update this when I receive the new ones.

I bought these for my daughter’s 18th birthday. She is a women’s size 7 and the Kid’s UK5 fits great. There is a zipper on the side, which isn’t on the women’s boot but she likes it. It makes it easier to get them on. She loves them and has started wearing them right away.

Well unfortunately it was a gift and I had to return them because I thought they would come in a youth size (big kid) “Girls’ US size 5 but instead they where US Size 5 for boys as the gender symbols show in the box . Well in the Dr. Martens box it clearly shows the sizes, I feel like Zappos should know more and describe in detail exactly what they are selling.

okay so I actually wear a women’s 8 but the big kid 6 fits (UK 5) fits just the same!!!

I am normally a 5.5 women’s and ordered a 3 Big Kids because the women’s 5 was enormous. They seem to fit well, though there’s is some extra room. Very comfy.

I’m a big fan of DMs since I was in high school, all made in UK with high quality materials and excellent durability. The sole is great but the leather feels / smells like a synthetic not a real leather ?so after inspecting this boots, i so disappointed that is is made in CHINA! Why??? Looks imitation, so upset.

I’m an adult female size 7 and ordered the kids size 5US. These fit perfectly and so much better than the women’s size on me(the women’s size 7 is a little too big for me). And the price is right!! Super comfortable with a little extra padding inside (which the women’s version doesn’t have). The soles on these are slightly shorter than the womens shoe but I don’t care about trying to be taller lol! Also there’s a zipper on these but it’s not noticeable at all and it makes it much easier to slip on and off (airport security friendly!). Very happy with this purchase. Buy them!!!!

Absolutely love them! I have a few spaces between my toe and top of the shoe but I love them because I can wear thicker socks. I normally wear a women’s 7 and thus fit perfectly!

Bought these boots for my 11 years old daughter. She is so happy!! She says they are very comfortable. And very easy to take on. She wears 36-37 European , I took US 5 (UK 4) , the boots fit perfect.

Too short at the toe!! ?

The sole had a bouncy feel, not typical of some Dr Martens, so that’s a plus. Soft leather and comfortable.
