I am a size 8.5 and sized up to a US size 9. They were at least a size too large. If you are a 1/2 size definitly size down. These sandals are so cute on, have a cushy footbed, and are lighter than my previous doc marten sandals from years ago.

Very confused about the description when it says ‘leather insole for all day comfort’. One would expect to be leather, instead they are made of pure rubber just like most Fitflop’s sandals brand. I specifically chose this style because it says that and it turns out that they weren’t even leather, (should’ve suspected that since the picture didnt show that it would be). Called zappos’ representative and couldn’t even give me an answer on that. Had to return them, coz I hate the sticky feeling at the bottom of my feet during the hot summer.

Awesome sandals I have such a hard time finding shoes that I can walk or stand in my back and my joints are very badd and it’s been even worse since the crackdown on pain meds for people that are in serious pain but I’m managing and these shoes really help I love doc martens and have loved them since I was in my early twenties I’m now 62 and I still wear doc martens boots and now sandals

I originally ordered my usual size 5 Doc Martens ( US women’s size 7 ) and I found them to be long, Returned for a size 4 and they fit perfectly. Love the dark brown grizzly leather, which is darker than pictured and really rich. I have bilateral bunions – not a problem as expect the leather will stretch and already pretty good out of the box. The soles are lighter weight than the boots which will be good for warm weather. And, what a fun style! Love these.

I bought a whole UK size smaller than normal fpr a Dr Marten.
I typically buy a EU size 5 in Dr. Martens. I foubd the EU 4 to be just right. I wear a US standard 7.5 Medium shoe size. These sandals rock.

These Doc Marten sandals are fabulous. Extremely flattering on the feet, sooo comfortable and easy to walk in. As per the other reviews, I did size down. I usually wear a 9.5 and bought a size 9. They fit perfectly! I am over the moon with this fantastic addition to my wardrobe. Of Course, great quick shipping from Zappos as always.

I got a pair of white size 7. Beautiful statement shoes for summer! However, they run BIG. I usually wear 8.5-9 depending on the width, but for this one, I had to go down to 7. Thanks to Zappos for the smooth, sweat-free return process!

I have been waiting for these shoes FOREVER!!! I love the thick comfy soles that Doc Marten is known for!, And I’ve always loved the gladiator style! The best part is that the laces can be adjusted for wide feet like mine with bunions that never fit in strappy sandals! Very Cool looking too! These are my new faves!!????

I wear a size 8 to 8.5 but in most doc marten styles, I wear a size 7. The 7 in this sandal fits perfectly. Very cute style.

I loved everything about these sandals, except for the security of the fit. With them being tied, it felt as though I really needed to overly tighten them, and they still weren’t as secure as the other Doc Martens I tried on. Awesome style though, and not as chunky or clunky as I expected they’d be. Ended up returning these for a more traditional Doc sandal, but if I ever see them on clearance probably won’t be able to help myself from purchasing 🙂

I am a sucker for a gladiator sandal. I saw these on someone at a street art festival last year and have been thinking of them ever since. Love the bouncing sole. Normally wear 8 1/2 in other shoes, size 8 in these fit perfectly. Not sure how much the back strap will rub when I walk but so far they are wonderful!

I am an avid wearer of docs, but this is the first pair of sandals I’ve tried from them. I am usually a 9.5 so I always get a 10 in the boots but I know they run larger so I sized down to a 9 for this shoe and it is perfect! There is a little bit of space still around the back for me so I tighten them through the loops more and it’s fine. So comfy and I am obsessed.

I am the one who wrote the positive review below. That is before I wore these shoes all day. We went on a day trip where we were just walking around a small town downtown. I got so many blisters in just that short distance that I had to buy another pair of shoes just to walk back to the car. If you are buying these just for style, they are cool and I got lots of compliments. But if you want comfort, look somewhere else. I didn’t want anyone to be misled by my first review.

I love these, they’re SO comfortable! My only issue was that they run extremely big. I am usually a size 9 so I ordered a size 8 because the reviews said they ran big. When the size 8 came they were even a half size or more too big so I had to exchange for a size 7 and they’re perfect now! Can’t wait to wear these for many summers to come!!

I always wear an 8 or 8 1/2 shoe but I have learned that my Birkenstocks and Docs both need to be sized down. I wear a 38 (L7) in Birks and although I have a couple of pairs of size 6 Docs (which I wear with thick socks), the size 6 Nartilla sandal was too long. There was probably an inch of space beyond my longest toe and I wasn’t crazy about how that looked. I requested a size 5, but kept the 6 until I could try the smaller shoe. If it had been too small, I would have kept the 6 because these sandals are crazy comfortable. And funky cute. Lucky for me, the size 5 fit my foot perfectly. My job requires me to be on my feet for hours at a time and these will be my go-to warm weather shoes (waaay more comfortable than even my Danskos.)

I love these sandals. They are super comfortable and can be dressed up or down. Doc Marten’s do run large. I am usually 8.5 but i sized down to 8.

Love these SO much! Definitely size down because they do run big. I usually wear a 7.5-8 and the 7 fits perfect. I’m sure they will need a little breaking in but so far super comfortable and SUPER cute.
