Holy Crow— these Doc Marten’s are SO WELL WORTH the price. Yeah, so I normally wouldn’t pay this much for shoes, but I totally wanted them, and I am so dang pleased with them. They go on easy, and even though I tend to have a thick ankle – these boots TOTALLY SATISFY! I put them on as soon as the delivery guy dropped them off, laced those suckers up, put in an extra insole for added comfort – and yeah, one happy customer. Wore them as I walked around in my PJs! I was a little discouraged when I read another review that said they were sorta heavy, NOT FOR ME. They truly fit to perfection. The best part for me???? TOTALLY VEGAN— no animals were harmed in the making of this rockin’ boot. GOTTA LOVE THAT! Yeah!! Oh, and I ordered a size “8” even though I wear an 8.5 – PURRFECT FIT. Thanks, Doc Martens and Zappos!!

I have been buying and wearing Docs since about 1989. I love them and will not wear anything else with the exception of New Balance shoes for fitness. I am flat-footed and believe wearing docs on my feet since 89 has helped me stay clear of the low back pain hazards of having flat feet.

I was a 90s kid, and dreamed of one day being as cool as all the “big kids” I saw rocking their Docs. Bah hahahha.
These, EVEN with the platform soles, just don’t do a whole lot for my 5’ 2” frame and shorter legs.
I love the lace-up look with the convienience of a size zipper closure. Genius! The color is a lovely neutral, a burgundy. Moderate arch support…a bit heavy, but that’s expected with these kind of boots.

I love the burgundy color and platform height of these shoes. I’m a women’s size 7.5-8, and I got the women’s size 7. They fit perfectly. My first Dr. Martens, and I love them!

I love these boots….so cool! I live in CO and when we get snow or just those slushy, icy walkways, the soles on these boots are great! They def seem waterproof to me, look great with jeans or a skirt and tights and I get so many compliments on them. Everyone wants to know where I got them. It is a heavy boot, but perfect for snowy icy conditions. Also, enough room for me to put my orthotics in them.

This is my 5th pair of doc martens and just like the others I love these. The best thing about the new docs is the side zipper: no more fussing to lace and unlace! Just make the laces fit your foot and leg once and you’re set to go, no more work!The vegan leather is an excellent imitation, not perfect but really good. Unless you know they’re not “real” leather, you’d never question it. The burgundy color is quite haute, very subtle. Certainly burgundy but not too bright. All in all, these docs are worth to add to your doc martens collection!

very comfortable boot and doesn’t require a lot of time breaking in. I would recommend going a full size down. I brought these in a size 9(my usual size) and they fit like a size 10. definitely would recommend these to anyone! my favorite boots by Doc Marten

The cherry red is more of a deep red with a plum color in certain light. I like it! The fit is perfect. They are comfortable when I tried them on inside. This is my second pair Dr. Martens. I will get use of them this winter.

I love these shoes! They are my second pair of docs and the vegan platform style didn’t disappoint. My only issue is that the quality of the docs have visible decreased since the first pair I purchased five years ago. The lace tips are incased in plastic instead of metal, and the the foot bed has less padding/comfort/support. Overall, I love my purchase and if I ever need to buy another pair of docs I’m doing it on Zappos because it was so quick and easy.

I love how these boots look. I went with the reviews and ordered a half size down. I’m normally a 6.5 so I went with the 6. The length was good but they felt tight in the toe box (my feet are slightly wide there) and the back of the heel rubbed right away. I may try the 7 just because they’re so darn cute!
