The best shoes ever!! So comfortable and perfect for my restaurant position!

Great boots that can be worn for fashion or heavy duty work.

So far so good. Two months into everyday work w/ 6-9 hrs a day on my feet & they are holding up as well as I hoped. The tread is wearing well with being on rough concrete, leathers doing well with getting wet throughout the day. They are very breathable & haven’t had a sweaty foot problem with them. So far I’m very impressed. If I can go 10 months then I’ll be happy, if they take me a year, then these will get replaced w/ the same boot. If I get more than 12 months I’ll be a spokesman for ST Dr.Marten’s where ever I go.
Once again only 2 months in, things are great as of now. Will re-review once the final verdict comes in.

Being a very petite woman working in aviation it is hard for me to find work boots that do not have some sweet hot pink or purple accents. I wore 1460s when I was a teenager to shows and just out and about, and with the old style I just about had to bandage my feet for weeks until they broke in. But not with these! (There is some heel rubbing but that comes with new boots for me at least.)
Besides being comfortable I had the initial fear with ordering them true to my size as I usually have to do the insole fit test; if they feel bad they get insoles, if a dream they are worn on their own. These are a wear on their own kind of boot.

The fit and size were spot on. Especially if you have worn a pair of Dr Martens. The padding inside the boot provides a very comfortable work boot. It defiantly makes the “normal break in” period pleasant. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great pair of work boots that I also wear outside of work.

I bought four pairs of steel-toe boots to find a winner for my work requirement, and these were the best. So much more comfortable than the pair of Docs I had in the 90s. I am short, so the ankle-height of the boot shaft is perfect for me. I bought my normal size, and they are a little big. I anticipate needing to wear a thicker sock or possibly face some blister-inducing rubbing in the heel. But I would rather have them roomy than too narrow (looking at you, Timberlands).

The iconic Dr. Marten 1460 with work boot features. What couldn’t someone love about these?
Well first off, I wear a size 14. And as with most shoes the last is just a supersized version of the smaller size. Which means they don’t fit very well. They’re extremely wide (for a standard D width), and they don’t keep my heel in place. My foot slides forward and my toes are hitting the end. Also, they are noisy. As in they creak. ALOT. An hour with some saddle soap did little to help.
I know Dr. Martens are somewhat notorious for having to break in. Hopefully these get better over time. With a really thick sock. And more oiling. And probably an added insole. But really after all that I should have just returned them.

Good shoe like expected sturdy and fits good. Unfortunately I should have order them a bit smaller.
