Awesome boots!
This Mr. Martens’ boots are excellent not only in looks, but in size as well. Since Dr. Martens’ shoes do not come in half sizes and only in UK sizes, I usually have a difficult time finding the right fit. This boot however, is definitely true to size. I am size 7, which translates to size 5 in UK. However, Dr. Martens’ size UK 5 is usually too small and size UK 6 is usually too big. This boot in size 5 is definitely a perfect size 7. Thank you for making this boot the perfect size for me!

I’ve been wearing the traditional design docs boots for years. I’ve tried other brands but nothing remotely compares; Dr. Martens are by far the best made and most comfortable boots out there (their air sole technology really helps them remain comfortable for years). I wanted to try a different Dr. Marten boot design this time around and so I went with the Ironbridge ST (black). Besides looking simultaneously modern and rugged, but with enough of the traditional Docs sexiness, the appeal of the boots was even better once I physically had them in my hands and put them on. Another utility-style feature of the boot that I liked was the leather finish. It was glossy enough to look clean and classy, but it was also matte enough to not show dirt or marks. The leather has a slight texture to it which also prevents scuffs or scratches from surfacing. Functionally, I additionally liked how the Ironbridge ST’s design supported the toe from the outside further forward and the laces were also further forward when compared to a traditional boot’s toe design. This has helped prevent the all-too-common toe crease that you get when you bend the boot forward (if you crouch often etc). The build quality feels phenomenal, and the air soles provide a consistently comfortable foot cushion that enables you to be on your feet for hours and hours without fatigue or pain. One of the other reviews mentioned a pinching type feeling where the toe met the body of the boot (at the front of the laces) with this design. I can say from experience that this is a common issue with all boots during the break in process. With these boots, I only felt that slight bend constriction for a max of couple of weeks (a shorter period than my other boots) during the break in phase. I’ve tried over 25 models of docs and other brands before I got these from Zappos a couple of months ago and I can tell you that, in my opinion, these are the best boots out there. -R

These are great boots for work. They are extremely comfortable even with the steel toe. I even wear them on the weekends. However, they are a bit hard to put on as they do not have a loop on the back to pull them on!

Every time I order from Zappos we stand with the UPS man and laugh – I order one day and it is usually delivered by the next day! That is just with the regular shipping, nothing extra AND we live in the middle of nowhere! Our UPS man says that Zappos is the best company for shipping anywhere. I say that Zappos has the best deals anywhere. What a combination. You guys are awesome.

I was first worried about the size from Dr.Martens, because i take a size 14 2E… But it was right on the money… I wear boots 24/7, so i need comfort!! from what i can tell, I will be a Dr. Martens boot wearer for life, as long as they have ones that fit!:) Awesome boots!… Zappos has excellent service, i won’t shop anywhere else for Boots

Great, solid boots from Dr. Martens. I’ve owned them a whole month and they’re still going strong. (They insisted on a review.) (OK, I anticipate the same experience I’ve had with the other Docs I own, which are all still in the rotation after many years.) And I can’t say enough about Zappos: good value and prompt delivery as usual. Love ’em.

Like these boots. Well made, sturdy, and incredibly comfortable. I have a 2E width and usually have a hard time finding boots that fit right. Generally have to go up a size to get somewhat of a good fit in width even when they are already extra wide. No shenanigans with this boot. Fit is right on the money. As always it was also a pleasure dealing with Zappos. I am a longtime fan of this company.

This is my first pair of Dr. Marten shoes. These boots are awesome. I had them on for about an hour and they were totally broken in. They are very comfortable even with a steel toe. I would buy these boots again and again.

I’m very happy with these shoes. Very comfortable and I can wear them all day without fatigue. Just remember their British so order one size smaller. 13 for a 14.
Cheston E –
Great boots! They broke in almost immediately, very comfortable. The only thing is the steel toe cuts in to my foot if the boot is not tied tight enough.

The only shoe or boot I have put on my feet for the last 15 years has been Dr. Martens. Why do I stick with Docs like glue? Because they fit my feet perfectly and they out last anything else I have seen on other people\’s feet. The Ironbridge ST met my every expectation again; Dr. Marten has not disappointed me.

I purchased these Doc Ironbridge steel toe Industrial boots at a local work boot store and wish I’d bought them at Zappos instead because they are cheaper at Zappos (plus free shipping and no tax!). I drive a tractor-trailer for a regional produce company and deliver daily to a dozen restaurants. This type of work is very hard on boots, working in the docks, trailers, city alleys and greasy restaurants. These boots have held up very well to that tough environment, are exceptionally comfortable and get great traction on greasy restaurant floors. Granted, you do have to break them in for a week or so and experiment a little with lacing to get the perfect fit, but after that, they fit great and I haven’t had any discomfort with the steel toe either. I clean them off every night and occasionally use Doc Marten’s Wonder Balsam and they still look new after months of use. Oh and the style, with yellow stitching – I deliver in a college town and the women compliment me on the style and instantly recognize they are Docs! I highly recommend them.

Very comfortable. It took about 15 minutes to “break them in”. I’m not going to say they feel like sneakers because they are work boots after all, but I will be ordering these again when and if these wear out.
Sunny G –
This is a very comfortable steel-toe work boot. I work in the environmental consulting industry, doing a ton of field work, so this shoe has been everywhere. By far, it is the most comfortable work boot I have ever owned. My feet do not ache after a 12 hour day on rough terrain. Excellent support, fair price.
Elaine –
Bought these for my hubby, who works long days on his feet – these seem to hold up better than other brand he has used.
Mary L –
Best boot ever! Husband works part-time nights at FedEx. We bought a pedometer and found he’s walking 9 miles a night. He wears Dr. Martens shoes during the day as a doctor.

Product was exactly as described. Shipped and arrived quickly. Zero hassle. Agent was helpful and efficient.

Excellent work or riding shoe for people with serious foot problems, like me. They are heavy but it’s worth it. They actually make my feet feel good and they are very wearable.
Jason P –
These boots are simply awesome! I love them! They seem to be very well constructed, look great, and feel great on your feet out of the box. Virtually no break in time needed. Now I hope they can hold up to extreme work conditions? Nonetheless…they are stylish and comfortable!

These are great boots! They’re a little heavy, but if your used to wearing a heavy boot anyway, its not a problem. The arch support is good. They really are Anti-slip. I walked through a puddle of hydraulic oil, onto an epoxy coated floor and didn’t slip at all. Comfortable! I wear a 10.5 in every shoe and boot. I bought 11’s, and they fit perfectly. I’ve been wearing these for 3 weeks now and have no complaints!

As a professional stagehand I need to wear my boots in extreme conditions for up to 20 hours at a time. These are the most comfortable steel toes I have ever worn. The soles have amazing grip, and they have withstood rain, snow, and road salt fairly well. The only thing I would change would be to add some vents in the arches or somewhere; they tend to retain a lot of heat. Also, I strongly suggest purchasing leather care and waterproofing products to treat them before wearing if you are going to subject them to the elements.

These boots are great. Very sturdy, very stylish.
I needed to put an insole in to raise my foot up a bit or I had Achilles issues, but I also have finicky foot structure.

These boots are wonderful. So comfortable and sturdy. I always buy Docs for work because they last for a really long time (usually about 3-4 years).
Kevin –
The soles began to split after only two months of use. I work in a cargo warehouse environment, but mostly what I do is walk around on a flat surface. This is completely unacceptable given the cost.
Other than that, once you get past your break-in period the boots are quite comfortable. Go up a half size from your normal size as the toe is very snug. I wear a 12 and they’re definitely the tightest 12’s I’ve ever worn.
Love the aesthetic and the comfort level, just a shame about the cheap soles.

I am about to be 60 and the boots are like walking on air…10 or more hours per shift Amazon #hou2 and I am so happy to have chosen them. I actually put them on outside of work at times just to be safe with my arthritic feet. thank you Dr. Marten, zappos, Amazon.
